STIHL and their role in COS?
Within their extensive range of products, STIHL are the world’s leading manufacturer of Cut Off Saws. Learning the correct way to handle these machines is vitally important.
Construction Companies, Training organisations and Colleges are introducing accredited and recognised Cut Off Saw (COS) training for users, including Bricklayers, Roofers, Landscapers, Groundworkers and Infrastructure Services at all levels of experience.
The COS course designed by STIHL teaches people the importance of wearing the correct Personal Protective equipment (PPE), and amongst other things, how to check the saw is ready to use.
In recognising the importance of this, STIHL are working with Construction Training Services Ltd on developing and delivering training and with NOCN on accreditation of the training courses delivered at all levels.
